"It's a Lamp . . .I'm Pretty Excited About it." "Yeah, I can tell,"
the Savers store clerk tells me as he hands me the cord and gives
me a funny look not sure if I'm joking or serious.
I was serious-For the last 6 months my lamp has struggled, well,
I have struggled in being able to turn it on/off-it's kinda broken.
Well, the switch is, but it still turns on an off should I use the cord.
I've been plugging it in and out everytime I want light or lack of it.
The other night after I almost gave myself a concussion I realized
that this might not be the smartest plan I've ever had.
(Ok, I've thought that before, only last night gave me the motivation
to do something about it.)
Realizing it might cost just as much to fix it as to replace it (should I shop smart) I ventured
to a local thrift store or two and found this original beauty.
I love the attention to detail, and think you should too.
Note: the longer end with the arm is how the lamp turns on and off. What's not to love?

omg Mon! My cousin's other grandma makes those lamps and sells them around Utah. I'm serious! I love that you have one.
