Remember the post I talked about wanting to share awkward moments--but maybe not until later?
Here is a snapshot of one unfolding awkward story. [Oh how I love awkward stories]
By the time this story ends I feel it'll have nearly as many twists and turns in it as the story of Big Desk Linda--a story to be recorded on this blog but soon forthcoming.
Hopefully not along the same story line as Big Desk Linda though.
Poor Linda.

This one time I tried to start mission papers.
[They have since been temporarily thwarted by the monster living inside my stomach causing a little delay in the plan that I hardly dare think too much about it out of frustration and for fear of jinx]

The week the papers were officially started a handsome person from my ward started talking to me which took more guts than I had as I was too shy to say anything to him, which let me be clear has not happened so severely to me since jr high/early high school days.
[Que gasp at the irony, also a chuckle at the fact that I was too scared to talk to a boy]

One of our first conversations occurred after ward prayer one Sunday. My hilarious bishop and bishop's wife came up to say good bye and both mentioned the papers and congratulated me on my plans. They said something to him and then I don't remember why but all looked over at me while I fiercely tried to not nervous vomit all over the three of them.
[What a relief I didn't have to tell him myself, also what a sneaky way to let person know what's going on.]
