Blessed.

Weeks ago some friends made plans to go to California but that fell through.
I still had the time off from work and wanted to do something and my awesome aunt graciously invited me and my brother into her home.
I was so excited.
Then it seemed all hell broke loose with my car.
To be fair it was already breaking loose, but these things never happen at convienent times, do they?
I can't explain it, but I still knew the trip would work out and despite my anxieties I decided I would work under the assumption that I would be going on Wednesday.
I got a surprising call Tuesday at work that my car was fixed and I was able to take a lunch break to pick it up thanks to help from my dad.
Our departure hour is slowly creeping up and I'm too excited to sleep however endless hours of driving keep echoing to me from the future saying how grateful I'll be if I can get some sleep now.
