A Year

Last week I had the opportunity to play with some friends I hadn't seen since my high school days. As we sat semi-reminiscing/listening to the boys talk about their missions in my cousin's kitchen, her boy mentioned how it's been a year since his mission and how things are pretty different now than how it was when he had barely come home. After that comment I started thinking about this time last year, how somethings never change, how somethings seem to have changed at nearly breakneck speed. Being able to look back and see how far things had come in some respects gave me a sense of awe; it made me grateful for the relationships I have been so blessed to have and develop more this year. Also, I have grown more confident in listening to my heart, gotten cheek bones, found out (again) that you can never read to much, learned that it's ok to simultaneously miss friends and be immensely jealous of their current locations, that I can save for and buy nice things, you're never to old and your location is never too boring to have adventures, I realized that I am stronger than I think I am.

I'm sure I'll think of even cooler stuff once I push the publish post button but isn't that how it always goes with sharing your thoughts with others?
How has this year been for you? Tell me.
