Peas in Perfect Moments

Do you ever have those moments that slow time down? or better yet make time stop in it's tracks? and for however brief it is, everything is perfect?
My favorite time-stopping moment(s) of bliss is spent outside in a warm summer afternoon/evening around dusk not ending until it's either too chilly to be out or the bugs become unbearable whichever comes first, with a big bag of fresh green peas either picked fresh from my garden or bought from the fruit stand .26 of a mile away from my house
It's one of those moments that doesn't dissolve the pressing life problems, but slows them down and takes away some of the precedence those problems had claimed before.

Mmmmm I crave some peas right about now.

One of my fondest memories: Sunday night, mid-July, in Vancouver, Canada. I was 15. I sat outside on the deck of my friend Jessie's house, discussing with her Harry Potter. We sat in those camping chairs and I ate delicious chocolate pudding. Her dad and brother played Spanish guitar music to serenade us as we looked over at the bay. Perfect night.

Mmmm...chocolate pudding.

Aaaaaaaaa I love those moments. For me, same time of day, in my hammock.
