No Pressure . . . Oh, and Bring a Thermos

A few weeks ago Kevin, a fellow buser and high functioning autistic friend who remembers nearly everything he pays attention to, and I were both discussing impending dates that both of us were to go on; him a double with some friends and his date to the restaurant and then to play games, me, a trip to the SLC to see a light show. Today at work Kevin remembered that we both had dates asked how mine went. [it was good thanks]
After Kevin found out that there was another date planned with the same boy Kevin gets all excited, motions for me to lean my head in and proceeds to discuss how on second and third dates other stuff happens like hugs and kisses because that's what happens on Hitch and asks me if I'm ready for that. [thank you for your concern?].
Later our manager heard the dealio and both he and Kevin proceed to give me more advice: don't kiss drunk people[where'd you learn that one Kev?], don't let it go until the 4th date or so before kissing because then you start to over think things [so true Kevo], and to bring a thermos of hot chocolate as it might be chilly [it honestly took me 5 minutes to realize the manager wasn't trying to be dirty on that one,] and lastly don't be afraid.
Conversations like these are almost more funny than "girl talk." Almost.

What a profound, intellectual individual. Where does his wisdom come from? But hey, he's serious about that thermos.

This is awesome. Also, I can't wait to see your face today, I feel like it's been a while.
