Say your house was burning to the ground and you had 60 seconds to grab as many or as little material possessions as you could. Assuming your loved ones were already waiting for you on the front lawn, what would you grab? What do you own that is so irreplaceable that you wouldn't be able to find another just like it or similar enough to the original to get by? Family Heirlooms? that would stink, but if your family is like mine, there's plenty more where that came from sitting in another relatives basement. Religious Scriptures? for sure that would be lame, especially if you're like me and have been using the same scripture set for 12 years, but really, what would YOU take? Would you load up with everything you could? or would you start over?
I'd take my mimi--what I call my baby blanket although I probably wouldn't think about it until I'm already outside. [I tried every excuse in the book to bring it with me to school when I was younger-ha]
My journal--there are somethings that cannot be replaced that reside in there,
My cat--does he count even though he's a creature?
My laptop-I'd like to say this one is because i also journal some stuff on my lappy, however, it's also because I'd hate to have to replace it.
Call me vain, I don't even what to think about the clothes I wouldn't be able to bring with me. -It's fall--the season of [fun] style. I'm not materialistic.
I am however, putting off sleep, which is something I probably shouldn't be, but I am. I can't let my brain wander tonight.
