Black Bean Burger--You will be mine, oh yes, you will be mine.

I've currently got a hankering to make something like this:

That's right, if the title doesn't give it away, I want to make a black bean burger.

If you're my brothers then I know you're probably rolling your eyes at me [lack of meat in a recipe tends to solicit that response in them], but that's ok because you have yet to try a bite of this deliciousness. 

I found a recipe here though in my little foodie lifetime I have seen a few variations of this recipe. What this cooking experience will come down to is "what do I have on hand to put in there that will taste good?".

Of course I am currently cooking my own black beans in preparation for this experiment as

I cannot seem to bring myself to pay for a can of beans [so expensive!] when I can make my own from dry storage for a fraction of the price and have it be loads more tasty too.
