Now that's just weird.

Many people in my life have been so incredibly sweet about my gluten-free-ness and a search for a diet that works with Nile the stomach monster. Last night as we were getting food it came up in conversation between me, some friends and a new acquaintance.
The following is a conversation that ensued--

Acquaintance: You don't eat wheat? Are you celiac?
Mawnika: Kind of, see, I've had some stomach problems and cutting out certain foods has helped me to control my symptoms.
A: So have you ever kissed someone after they've just had a big sandwich or bowl of pasta?
M: Can't say that I have. . . I'm sure at some point of my life, but not since starting this new way of eating. . .

I confess, I did not want to know what sort of stories she was ready to tell me and consequently I avoided this girl the rest of the night; I'm all for sharing and being open but that might have been a bit too much all at once for such a new acquaintance, plus there's the whole, ignorance is bliss dealio I'd like to live under.

Now that I think about it though, how crazy of a kisser would you have to be to elicit allergic reactions from wheat just by kissing someone who had just eaten wheat?
Call me immature, but ew. ew ew ew. eeeewwww.

I'm sure it just depends on how sensitive you are, right?
ulg, lets hope I'm not that sensitive because I'd rather not find out.
