A Longfellow Christmas

Thank goodness for Christmas,

for family and friends so close they might as well be family

I have been blessed beyond measure in so many ways.

I've watched this lovely, and slightly cheesy, re-telling of "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" quite a few times this week and each time I still tear up.  

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is a remarkable writer and I love this story of his personal journey back to faith and the real meaning of Christmas.
