Cliche, yes, but if there's anything I like more than alliterations, it's rhyming.
I'm nervous about starting a new job yet grateful to be able to be saving more than I have been able to at my job as a restaurant peon, we'll see how it goes-I imagine it to be like that scene out of Fight Club where the main character(what WAS his name? hmm) comes downstairs and project mayhem is working doing their busy bee soap making thing and he is completely dumbfounded and unsure what to do or where to go. Sorry no clip-just go watch it. Or clearplay it.
I'm so happy I got to hang out with the girls this week. We've been friends through out high school, but close since the latter part of high school and can relate to each other very well in life and in recent events. Saturday morning we realized that this time next year the boys in our little circle of friends will begin to trickle back from their prospective mission fields. Cool. I am expecting wedding bells for once such couple in our group. Surreal.
I'm grateful for the warm arms my church group has welcomed me with. Having some more friends to hang out with a few nights a week has really helped my adjustment to life without another friend. Also, they think I'm funny. I'm not, really, I'm just silly.
I'm grateful that lessons I had today and yesterday both pertained to gratitude.
I'm grateful that I have friends who let me watch UFC fights with them. In that same thread, I'm grateful to be able to work out with my brothers and the guys and for the opportunity to learn about different fighting techniques. (Writing just what comes to my mind has shown me that maybe I need to hit the punching bag sometime soon)
What are you all grateful for?
