While driving in the fast lane is optionary, your slowness vs fastness is less debatable. A loaded down dump truck in the middle lane should NOT be able to pass you. You are a hazard, you would be voted off the freeway version of survivor or other type of reality show where you would be voted off if ever a freeway version did exist.
To the Speeder-Bright-Flasher,
The custom of flashing your brights at someone's car telling them to get out of the fast lane so you can zoom by to do that to a few more people before you reach your destination is annoying and arrogantly presumptuous; it says to people "hey! I'm so much more important than you, I have somewhere better to be than you so I must get there faster". This custom is exponentially worse when you flash your brights at them while driving in the middle lane. To those drivers I say "You can go around, or you can move to the left and flash your brights at them. Well geeze!"
