How Grandma says "I love you"

My opinion on me eating meat: Given the choice I will usually opt for a non-red meat or vegetarian option but I try not to turn down an offer of any food, especially from Grandma.

The woman's love language is service. She says "I love you" by loading up your plate sky high with food, making sure you get seconds and then offering you dessert right about the moment you feel so full you think you might burst if someone were to poke you with a pin.

The Story:  I went to my grandparents for dinner last Sunday. Grandma always makes a roast and potatoes with rolls, a salad before the main course and some dessert for after for Sunday dinner.
Saturday my mother and Grandma were talking about Sunday dinner and what was on the menu. The conversation went something like this:

Grandma: I'm making pot roast, potatoes, etc etc etc. It's always a hit with Uncle This-n-this and Uncle So-n-so.
Mom: Oh, but Monica's coming up too, you do know she doesn't eat red meat, right?
Grandma: Oh, I didn't know that. Oh well, she doesn't know I know that she doesn't eat red meat so I'll make it for her anyway.

You best believe that she made the pot roast anyway.
You also best believe that I ate some of it. [Remember the way she says "I love you"?] Although, this time instead of getting overloaded with a plate of stomach-twisting pot roast [it's good, my tummy is just weird] I got away with one slice which was the perfect amount for me, and my plate was still loaded sky-high with other dinner items. What a happy medium.
