I'm a what?

Rumors [even friendly ones] can spread even when you don't expect--for example:
At work it's easy to classify people into different diet groups based on what they eat such as gluten free, sugar free, vegetarian, etc.
Often people have asked me about how it is to be vegan, what food do I eat as a vegan, or most recently warned me about how my delicious lemon-strawberry fish oil I'm about to add to my lunch shake would make the shake no longer vegan.
That's just silly
At first I was surprised by these comments.
Then I started thinking, I do eat a lot of plant based proteins and as a result of having a stomach monster named Nile in me I have gotten a little particular about the food I eat, but I've always thought of my self as a moderate omnivore [who listens to her body and is maybe just a little picky when it comes to meat].

I guess the lesson I've learned here is: actions speak louder than words; even when you think you're doing the best to stay off radar and out of the way, people might notice you anyway--like how you avoid animal products or consistently pick snacks that are vegan friendly.
So be on your best behavior...
Yikes.

Admit it, this picture made you smile a little
