UFC 100

Confession: I LOVE the world of Mixed Martial Arts, specifically the UFC although WEC is fantastic as well.

This most recent card (UFC 100) had some of the biggest current names in the UFC.

Imagine my excitement when my big browda(yes, that is the official title and yes, it is purposely misspelled and no, there is no blood relation) was finally convinced to make a copy of this fantastic fight. The list of convincing points include a birthday present (see the "move man" from previous entry), a sandwich from my place of employment(well, half since I'll probably wind up eating the other half), and the safe return of his favorite book (I'm not above empty threats).

My favorite fight/fighter from this card and in general: Dan Henderson

I respect Dan Henderson for both his ability to fight well in the octagon and for his good sportsmanship in and out of the fight.

He was featured as the American coach on the most recent season of the Ultimate

Fighter where his British counterpart and opponent for this was Michael Bisping. Throughout the whole season Bisping trash-talked his way through everything and didn't win him any friends besides the people he coached who idolized him.

Henderson would simply brush off the trash talk saying either that they'll meet in the octagon when it was their turn to fight, or that he saw Bisping as throwing a tantrum like his kids will sometimes do and that the best plan of action was to just wait it out. The fight between these two became the knock out of the night, and for good reason too, Dan Henderson and his powerful right hand made contact with Bispings jaw (the knockout button). Bisping was out cold for a matter of minutes-asking what happened when he came to.
