Beautiful

This week has been beautiful (I know, I know, it's only Tuesday). I know last week had a few downer posts so I'd like to share with you some happiness too!

Some might call this a birthday week, I want to look at this as a quality time week.

Quality time with a cousin who is amazing. It's fair to say that for the most part we have the best (validating) reactions for each others stories; I think of the CS Lewis quote:
"Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one"
Basically I have a moment or two like that with this cousin all the time--every time we play.

Also quality time with the Rabbit Family--life is always so great when I get to play with them! Mama Rabbit had her birthday this week so there was a celebration where many friends came to play and it was so fun to see their faces. It was beautiful; aaaaand I got to ride in a helicopter since Grandpa Rabbit flew in for the afternoon which of course started jokes among us, "What a pony? Psh no way! Come to my party, I have helicopter rides!"

Quality Avatar? Who doesn't love Avatar nights? I don't know, but clearly whoever they are they don't come to these shindigs where we watch a few goofy episodes punctuated by sporatic dance sessions. Or how about talking and laughing on the phone with friends and family for forever and not even realizing how fast time has past? There's something so joyful about that to me.

Oh friends and family. Look at you all, my life is beautiful because you're in it.
