Like What You Wear on Your Feet?

I played with the Rabbit family today. We were looking for supplies for a puppet project which included socks and foam. With hungry/tired children in tow we wanted to make the trip out as quick as possible so while Mrs Rabbit drove I called the Hobby Lobby to see if they had socks we could just stop at one store instead of 2. 

When I told the sales associate what I was looking for her first question was "socks...like what you wear on your feet?" "Yeah, or anything close to that" was the best I could muster without laughing at the nice lady on the phone.

A phone transfer, another phone call (where I kicked myself for not sticking with the whole foreign language thing) and a trip to the Wal-Fart later we had our supplies, and a joke about socks.

"uhhh what is it called when it's cold outside and you put those sock-things on your hands to keep them warm?"  or "no not the kind you wear on your feet, I'm looking for the kind you wear on your head when you're looking to kind of hide your identity. Fall tuition is due soon and I'm hoping to have a 'job' done by then."
